No. The FREEforce is a collection of the best, most professional – and most efficient freelancers in the Netherlands. Their availability, rates and terms are entirely their business. We don't know, and to be honest, we don't care. If you want to talk to a FREEforce freelancer, simply go to their website or send them an email.

No. Freelancers are notoriously independent talents, with a free will and agenda of their own. It would be impossible to tie these freelancers down, much less create an agency that could tame their spirits.

No, we don't want to get too big. The FREEforce is a select group, listed by invitation only. The people behind The FREEforce must be able to personally vouch for the creativity, quality, and efficiency of the freelancers included in our lists.

Nothing. And we hope to keep it that way. Agencies are more than welcome to contact The FREEforce talents directly, and the freelancers don't pay a thing to be included on this site. But we do reserve the right to change our minds. Because we don't know what will happen in the future. If The FREEforce ends up demanding too much effort, time and money, we might have to start thinking about fees.

Of course not. We merely aim to offer our clients the best possible freelancers. Some of them are members of collectives, others are totally independent contractors. Which is why a collective could never offer agencies a complete list of every top freelancers. The FREEforce can. Freelancers are free to post their own contact details to the site – or the details of their collective or agent, if they so desire.

Yep. Hey, we thought it up, so it's only natural that our names are on it. But it's not just about us. We created The FREEforce to serve our existing clients. And because our clients are happy with us, it's only logical to include our names on the list.

By invitation. We do not accept applications from freelancers. Constantly we will invite new freelancers to join The FREEforce, if at least four current FREEforce freelancers are willing to vouch for their professional creativity, quality, and effectiveness.

The FREEforce is beta because it is a new project and will be improved as we go along, so we can meet the needs of the market to the best of our abilities.

Maybe. Right now we are only working with freelancers in the Netherlands. Because we know our local networks best. But we are also looking forward to including freelancers from Belgium, Germany and England, so we've already made the entire site available in a more international language.

We thought about it, but not while we're still in beta. However, The FREEforce is always eager to hear about our clients' experiences. We welcome recommendations, tips and complaints – and will take them to heart. After all, it behooves us all to maintain the highest possible quality of FREEforce freelancers.

All freelancers listed with The FREEforce are responsible for their own profiles. If someone stops freelancing – or starts again – they can activate or deactivate their profiles. We do not keep track of freelancers' availability.

Some freelancers have more than one specialization. They could work as art director, designer and photographer. We only include freelancers in multiple specializations if they have been invited by freelance colleagues in that field.

By using tags, clients can narrow their freelance searches. Tags are an ideal way to speed up the process if, for example, an agency is looking for an art director with online skills who can also act as creative director.

It's up to the freelancers to create tags that accurately reflect their specializations, so they can promote their skills effectively on The FREEforce.

We decided to include all types of freelancers – from concept and strategy to illustrators and directors – so agencies or clients can develop and complete a total marketing and/or communications solution.

Most freelance platforms depend on quantity – any freelancer can join and post a profile. The FREEforce is about quality. A small group of freelancers who are talented and pleasant to work with.

The FREEforce also has different functionalities. Instead of complicated matches based on jobs, we make it possible for clients to target their search for a freelancer.

The FREEforce began with Tim, Taco and Pascal. They asked their clients for the names of their favorite freelancers. The FREEforce will begin by listing these freelancers - a rich resource for fueling future growth.
